Review Title:

One of the best things I have ever done.

Full Review of the Program:

There are times you look back on and think, "Wow, those were good days." Not only do I think this about my Vermont College experience now, but unlike most "good ole day" memories, I knew AT THE TIME that I was doing something special, and that I would be forever changed for the better. I was correct. I have just published my first book of short stories and I have been publishing in respectable journals since my last year at Vermont College. (Before attending VC, I had been collecting rejection slips for about a decade.) I give Vermont College my highest recommendation. Faculty, staff and peers were the best.

Campus Facilities

In Vermont, the setting is so beautiful you really don't want many frills. One summer there was a heat wave and I missed the ubiquitous air conditioning of the south. Still, a good fan was usually sufficient.

Financial Assistance

3 Stars

Financial assistance is usually not an expectation in low. res. programs, since students are typically able to keep their jobs while attending.
