My biggest problem in this program is that there are so many doors opening that I can't decide which one to go through. I've been turned on to poetry and non-fiction, and have really been pushed in my fiction and screen writing. I've talked to students in other programs and the more I learn, the more I realize this is a really great program, largely due to the interdisciplinary focus.
Advice to Prospective Students:
You get out what you put in. Don't do assignments the night before they're due - writing needs time and if you don't bring your best work to class there's really nothing the instructors can do to push you to go further with your art. If you don't see something you want, talk to Brighde Mullins (the director of the program) she's great, and totally open to trying new things.

Campus Facilities
I often feel like our classes are just smashed in where ever there's room. Would be nice have a more unified location for classes.

Diversity
In my class we have everyone from the girl straight out of undergrad with a BA in English to the former Marine Corps nurse who writes sci-fi. A realy diverse crowd that brings a lot to the table.
Career Services/Development
They're still trying to get teacher training together, but otherwise it's good.
