Full Review of the Program:
I've had an amazing time at NMSU. I want to echo what's been said about the strength of our community and quality of life here. My classmates always bring an incredible level of thought and energy to their responses to each others' writing, and they're great to know outside the classroom.
When I decided to apply to an MFA program, my primary goal was simply to have time to write. NMSU has brought me so much more than that. Every workshop expands my understanding of what fiction can accomplish and how. The faculty constantly inspires me both in class and one-to-one, and they are all quite generous with their time. Finally, I've had the chance to take courses in other genres and to read literature more comprehensively than I ever had before. I highly recommend this program.
