Review Title:

Great faculty, great location

Full Review of the Program:

I looked at every one of the 38 low-res MFA programs stateside before choosing Lesley. This program had more faculty writing in multi-genres than any other school at the time. Iread and write in more than one genre, and I wanted to study more than one genre.

As an older writer, I didn't expect any seismic changes in my writing at Lesley. I was amazed at the depth and generosity of my mentors' feedback. I've grown more as a writer in 18 months than I have in the past decade. This is an energizing, motivating, smart, and even wise program.

Advice to Prospective Students:

Fall in love with great writing.

Say the riskiest thing.

Revise. No, really. Revise.
