Review Title:

An wonderful, intensive and comprehensive program in writing, rounded out by requirements of interdisciplinary work.

Full Review of the Program:

A Low residency program was essential for my personal life. The craft of writing is in the forefront of everything we do during the program. The faculty have all been top-notch in any kid of workshops, seminars, and lectures. Working one on one as distance pairs is still a very close collaboration. The feedback I have gotten on my writing has been invaluable in focusing my current writing and creating new work.
The residencies are intensive and incredibly stimulating. We have genre and cohort seminars in which we get exposure to the other genres within the program.
One of the most appealing aspects to the program for me was the interdisciplinary requirement. This allowed me to pursue outside interests that may or may not inform my writing directly. During residency we have an opportunity to see the interdisciplinary projects from peers. Faculty and invited guests read from work the first week of the residency and it is great way to experience the work of faculty first-hand. Upon graduating students come back to tech a seminar. The content of these seminars have consistently been helfpul and interesting, regardless of genre.

Advice to Prospective Students:

This is a program that listens to their writers.
