INSEAD is a great program for those who want a practival MBA, where theoretical work is minimizaed to the necessary, and the practical side of any top MBA school is intensified into 10 months.
This taught a lot about how to get the most out of life, applying this intensity to all areas of life - Work, making contacts, learning, traveling, fun etc.
In addition you develop a strong network, very practical management knowledge (particularly interesting for me was the entrepreneurial side of being in the Singapre campus and working with local entrepreneurs), and you also change as a person (developing a more global / international perspective and awarenss of the business world, for ezample).
After graduation I can, cliche though it may be, say that INSEAD changed my life in 10 short months, and I am continuing to feel the positive impact on my lfe / career. This includes my will to continue learning, the ability to connect with the vast INSEAD network (particularly in the Middle East) which is always ready to help with business or personal needs, and my career outlook which, with the INSEAD name, and the mentality instilled with me to achieve and live life to the full, means that I am confident of achieving my goals.
Advice to Prospective Students:
Be prepared for an intense program that will grow your outlook and attitude to life.
By this I mean mae sure you are ready to make the most of the 10 months - don't just work hard while at INSEAD, also network, take part in events, and take the opportunity to experiment - both in class and in any extra-curricular activities.
