Review Title:

Small, yet flexible and focused on each student's needs

Full Review of the Program:

Before researching for MFA programs, I honestly had not heard much about Chatham University outside of their advertising in the Writer's Chronicle. But if you spend the extra effort to look into what Chatham has to offer I believe any potential MFA student will consider it as an option. The faculty are extremely accessible, friendly and go out of their way to help. The tuition is competitive with any private school. However, it was the focus on place-based writing that swayed me to apply here. I have noticed a marked improvement in the quality of my own writing since enrollment. I would recommend it highly to any prospective MFA student.
