Program Description
The pre medical program consists of 4 semesters of premedical study and so it helps students to enter their 4 year MD program.Xavier University School of Medicine at Aruba's accelerated MD program compresses medical education to slightly less than 4 years.Yet it does not compromise the total number of hours credited or clinical exposure in the process. The 5th semester has three components: Introduction to Clinical Medicine (ICM), Getting into Residency (GIR), and KAPLAN review. The Clinical Science Program consists of Core Rotations, and Electives.The total curriculum for Clinical rotations is 72 week of which 48 weeks is spent in Core Clinical Clerkships, and the remaining 24 weeks are spent completing electives of your choice.
