University of Minnesota at Minneapolis Creative Writing Program
Program Description
The English department at the University of Minnesota offers a MFA writing program which takes three years to complete. The first two years allow for graduate level study in writing, language, and literature, and the third year focuses on the completion of a thesis, the MFA essay, and the MFA thesis defense. All students receive financial support, including full tuition waivers and health insurance, in the form of teaching assistantships or fellowships.
