Program Description

The University of Health Sciences Antigua offers a ten trimester,40 month medical program. The first trimester is taught in Antigua and the 2nd through 4th trimesters are taught in wither Antigua or affiliated Basic Sciences sites in the US, UK, or Puerto Rico. During 6th through 10th trimesters students complete clinical rotations at hospitals in the US or Puerto Rico. The shortened length of the curriculum means lower overall costs. The MCAT is not required for admission. 90% of students pass the USMLE Step I on their initial attempt.
