Program Description
The MFA in Film offered at the University of Central Florida is a selective, rigorous, three-year professional program for visual artists and filmmakers who demonstrate significant professional promise. The MFA program supports independent filmmakers who come to the program to elevate and refine their ability to combine artistry with entrepreneurship in the creation of their own Microbudget Digital Feature Film. Combined with graduate coursework in film and business, each MFA student uses their talents, creativity and ingenuity to create a digital feature film designed to cinematically deliver its theme and story for less than $50,000.
