Program Description

The first 4 years consist of study of the basic sciences, laboratory work, and intensive clinical instruction. This is unlike other U.S. medical curricula that focuses only on the basic science study in the beginning semesters. Clinical rotations begin in the fifth year in the university hospital or affiliated institution in Mexico, US or Puerto Rico.
