Simmons College Writing for Children MFA Program
Program Description
Students who are pursuing the M.F.A. in Writing for Children complete four required academic courses: Criticism of Children’s Literature, The Picturebook, History of Publishing, and one genre-based courses, as well as writing courses and a thesis. Depending on the student's course load, the MFA program may be completed in one to five years.
