Program Description

MA/MRes/PGDip
Creative and Professional Writing

Find out what kind of writer you are.

Expand your awareness of the context and the skills needed for contemporary writing, on a programme that helps you develop a personal approach and explore an unusually wide range of genres including innovative poetry, writing for children and creative nonfiction. The MRes offers a unique alternative pathway for those wishing to work more independently on a longer project. All tutors are practising writers, with links to professional media.

Both degrees may be studied full-time (one year) or part-time (2–4 years). All classes are held in the evening, and taught on our beautiful campus on the edge of Richmond Park in south-west London.
