Program Description

The NC State MFA writing program admits about a dozen students each year, six in fiction and six in poetry. Due to its intimate size, students are able to receive considerable individualized attention from faculty. It is a 36 credit program, and students must complete a creative thesis and a critical essay to graduate. Teaching assistantships are available.
