Program Description

The Michigan State University College of Law is a dynamic school with a proud reputation for excellence. Our students are challenged by a rigorous academic program and are prepared to enter the profession with tangible, practice-ready skills.

Our MSU affiliation allows us to augment traditional legal education with dual degree options, certificates and concentrations, nationwide externships/internships, and hands-on clinical programs.
MSU Law makes its home in the heart of the MSU Campus in East Lansing, Michigan. The College is also four miles away from the State’s Capitol, which provides a connection to the legislature and Supreme Court for Michigan.

The MSU Law faculty hails from the ranks of accomplished attorneys, respected scholars, and promising newly credentialed faculty candidates. Our distinguished professors are also very accessible to students.

The value of an MSU Law degree increases each year. Especially in these tough economic times, having a degree from the powerhouse that is Michigan State increases your options in the job market and connects you with an enormous network stretching from East Lansing to China.
