The Writing School was established in 1998 as the home within the English Department for postgraduate work in creative writing.
The MA in Creative Writing is a graduate programme for writers and for anyone interested in writing and the transmission of the written and spoken word. The course includes writing workshops, literature courses, lectures, and seminars, as well as the completion of an independent research project and a writing portfolio.
