Program Description
Located in a vibrant urban setting, Loyola University Chicago School of Law has educated diverse and talented students from across the country and around the world for over 100 years. Yet the school remains designed to encourage the individual, personal attention that helps its students succeed. Loyola’s Jesuit heritage promotes a strong spirit of social justice, community and an interest in the development of the student as a whole person. The school’s varied and cutting edge curriculum is taught by experienced, dedicated faculty. With nationally recognized centers of excellence in child law, health law, and advocacy, and expanding international options in Beijing, Rome, and London, the school offers full- and part-time Juris Doctor programs. Specialized certificates are available in advocacy, child and family law, health law, international law and practice, and tax law. For attorneys pursuing advanced legal education, the school offers Master of Laws programs in business law, child and family law, health law, and tax law. In addition, the School offers an innovative online Master of Jurisprudence program for non-attorney professionals and two doctoral degrees focusing on health law and policy (SJD and DLaw).
