Program Description

Kingston University offers MA courses in Creative Writing, Creative Writing and the Creative Economy, Creative Writing and Publishing, Making Plays: Writing and Devising for the Stage, Poetry, Fiction, Travel Writing, and Writing Children's Literature.

Kingston University also offers a MFA program, the first of its kind in the UK. The unique combination of creative and practical skills provided on this course will prepare students simultaneously for a career as a publishing writer and an accredited teacher of creative writing. Students may apply for the two-year MFA or for direct entry to the second year of the course, which will follow completion of an MA in Creative Writing or another related discipline (either at Kingston University or elsewhere in the UK or abroad).
