Program Description
Goddard offers a 48 credit low residency program in creative writing. Each semester begins with an 8 day residency, in which students meet with their advisers to develop their plan for the coming semester, as well as attend workshops, panels, lectures, readings, and informal discussions. During the semester, students work one-on-one with their advisers. Students may choose to attend the residencies in either Plainfield, Vermont or Port Townsend, Washington. The diverse background of the faculty allows students to study a variety of genres, including poetry, fiction, memoir, playwriting, and screenwriting.
