Program Description

The Inland Northwest Center for Writers offers small workshops taught by eight permanent faculty members. The program sponsors reading throughout the year, and students also have the opportunity to read at local bookstores, cafes, and pubs. The program maintains strong ties to the local community, and students participate in the Writers in the Community program, teaching writing at local schools, shelters, correctional facilities, and other community organizations. Some students are awarded teaching assistantships.
