MFA students at Arizona State University divide their work equally between writing workshops and literature and theory courses. Students may concentrate on fiction, poetry, creative non fiction, or plays. In recent years, members of the ASU faculty have published over 20 novels and volumes of poetry, 4 short story collections, and 44 plays.
